Tea House Chair
The aim for the Tea House Chair was to create a design that would occupy the space it was inspired by. Using Japanese tea houses as an inspiration, the chair displays the traditional design aesthetics of Japanese carpentry. A lack of ornamentation, use of humble materials, and clean lines present throughout the space would soon be the foundation to build the chair around.
